Tips for Success

  • Read the rules to attendees prior to commencement

  • ‘The Extras’ are a typical Who/What am I. If teams are marking other teams’ papers, don’t announce those that have successfully answered it until the end as the points reduce as more hints are given.

  • Where possible, browse the package prior to the event to check on any difficult pronunciation.

  • Unless an answer is proven to be totally incorrect and by a significant majority, avoid allowing additional answers.

  • Please let us know of any errors/queries or suggestions to improve, we are happy for your feedback.

  • Especially if playing for prizes/money ensure you move around the teams to monitor usage of devices or hardcopy material.

  • Engage with the teams, if you are having fun, so will they.
